Nature Inspiration Kraf 2012 

Being held in Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex began on 31 October to 11 November 2012, 10.00 am to 10.00 pm. A variety of activities were held, such as sales of craft products, craft fairs lawn and garden products, craft demonstrations, interactive crafts, nature inspired fashion fairs, exhibitions student output National Craft Institute art exhibit in Malay weapons, traditional cooking demonstrations, arts and discretion creative.

National Craft Day Celebration



Now we are still in the National Craft Day Celebration month. This craft festival take place fom 24th Feb to 24th March 2010. But the sales, exhibition and demonstration are from 24th Feb to 8 March at National Craft Complex Jalan Conlay (Conlay Street).

Until 9/13 March to 24th of March, few shopping complexes and hotel are participating the craft sales and demonstration. The Shopping Complexes are:

Local craftspeople to participate in Borneo Jazz 2012


For the first time in its seven year history, the Borneo Jazz festival at ParkCity Everly Hotel in Miri, Sarawak will be featuring a craft bazaar where local sarawakian handicrafters will be exhibiting, demonstrating and selling their products. This bazaar is organized by the Sarawak Tourism Board in co-operation with the Sarawak Craft Council. This will provide local Sarawak crafters with the unique opportunity to showcase their arts and crafts to the local, as well as international festival crowd.



Sarawak is a state full of different local tribes, each with their own fascinating culture and traditions. A large part of this culture consists of manufacturing precious items that are skillfully crafted by hand in a process that may take from some hours to as much as days. The Borneo Jazz Craft Bazaar will give festival attendees the opportunity to look the local crafters over the shoulder as they are masterfully producing all kinds of hand crafted items. The bazaar, thanks to the generous co-operation of the Sarawak Craft Council, will be featuring a diverse array of crafts, from the skillful beading of the Orang Ulu tribe to the great weaving of the Ibans.

In the midst of this market place of creativity, visitors also have the chance to purchase drinks and sit down to watch the locals work on their arts and crafts. All together, this bazaar offers a new and exciting platform for sarawakians and festival visitors alike to share their culture and purchase some great works of art.
